Named after Friedrich Fülleborn, a German physician and naturalist who explored the Lake Nyasa region.
Possesses an elongated hindclaw, a specialized adaptation for walking and balancing on matted or spongy grassland vegetation.
Represents a striking example of convergent evolution, sharing near-identical plumage patterns with the unrelated American meadowlarks.
Primarily insectivorous, it spends most of its time foraging on the ground for grasshoppers, beetles, and other invertebrates.
